Test Automation Engineer
- Ensure the appropriate level of quality is incorporated into our customer implementations and customisations.
- Craft test artifacts including Test Strategy, Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to analyze, review and clarify the created user stories (business requirements)
- Collaborate with the Development team to translate the business requirements into test cases and test scripts and integrate these into efficient test plans
- Test enterprise level software through all phases of the test lifecycle
- Assist customer(s) with UAT planning as needed
- Maintain and communicate QA metrics to internal and customer partners via status/metrics reports
- Interact, communicate, and follow through with development & customer teams throughout testing phase

Essential
- 3+ years of Test Engineer experience
- Strong understanding of SQA methodologies.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects
- Experience in enterprise level software deployments
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Desirable
- Understanding of test automation framework design models and standard methodologies
- Experience working with Geospatial Information Systems or web mapping software.
- Experience with utility or telecoms industries.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of comparable technology and industry experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
